Phantom Virgin Sturgeon
A landscape of the restaurant The Virgin Sturgeon as it sits on the Sacramento River during sunset in late spring. The paint was used very texturally with high relief in places. The depth of color was inspired by old dutch masters to create a moody feeling and a sense of mystery.
Acrylic and printed media on stretched fabric.
